Laundry bag

Both nappies and liners are made of organic cotton and should be washed after each use. So a little person needs 5-6 nappies and liners every day. Simply place the items in our special laundry bag and put in the washing machine. This bag makes it not only easy to handle the diapers but also helps prevent the drawstrings from knotting during washing.
Please keep in mind: Brand new diapers and liners need to be washed 2-3 times before use to ensure maximum absorbency.

Waterproof bedcover

The waterproof cover lets nothing through thanks to the sheet of breathable plastic inserted between 2 layers of cotton. 50x70 cm and 70x90 cm, it fits into the cot, can be used as a changing mat and is a practical waterproof cover for feeding in a lying position. With the special continuation of pure cotton and artificial fibres, the sheet is extremely hard-wearing and will survive many machine washes at 90°.

Wool shampoo

The natural wool we use should be treated with an equally natural, mild wool shampoo. The structure of its fibres makes wool especially sensitive to heat, friction and strong chemicals, so care needs to be taken when washing woollen products.
Our disana wool shampoo is particularly mild and thus perfect for all natural wools. Its ph value is adjusted to wool, which is slightly acidic, preventing the wool from matting when washed. As it is a concentrate, it is very economical and is suitable for hand or machine washing

Lanoline conditioner

Lanoline is the natural wax in sheep’s wool. The wax envelops the fibres, protecting them from harsh environments.  The woollen products in our disana programme contain plenty of natural lanoline, which protects and cares for the wool fibres.
The woollen overpants in our disana nappy system, in particular, use up the lanoline constantly. Other woollen products, too, lose the natural wax in the wool from washing or drying, which is why the wool fibres need to be replenished with lanoline every now and then.
The best way to do so is with our disana lanoline conditioner. It is made up of liquid lanoline and dissolves easily in lukewarm water. After washing, the woollen product is placed in a bowl with the lanoline treatment. The wool fibres absorb the lanoline again and the woollen product is protected against dirt and dryness.
