The nappy itself forms the core of any washable nappy system. We at disana provide three different types of nappy – three alternatives for all kinds of different needs.

One thing the nappies have in common is that they are made of highly absorbent organic cotton. They also have exceptionally high standards of quality and finishing. This is very important to us, as no other piece of clothing is washed, dried and re-used as often as a washable nappy.

knitted nappy / diaper 

This knitted nappy is the mainstay of the disana nappy system. 
Its stretchy knitted fabric follows baby's every move, keeping the nappy flush with your child’s body even when she has a really good wiggle. Its special form not only makes it easy to put on; it is also designed to fit perfectly from the first to the last day your child needs it. That makes disana knitted nappies far less costly than expensive disposables.

nappy pants / diaper pants 

This all-in-one nappy can be used straight away with no need to fold or roll it back. Its practical shape and big Velcro fasteners make it simple to put on and adjust to baby’s size. Integrated elastic provides a snug fit without pinching.
Its soft, slightly napped cotton absorbs plenty of moisture and is especially comfortable for baby to wear. Sewn-in cotton liners make the nappy extra absorbent.

Muslin nappies / diapers 

A classic nappy, 80 x 80 cm, woven from fine organic cotton. No other fabric has accompanied people across so many thousands of years as the muslin nappy.
There are doubtless dozens of different techniques for folding a child’s nappy using this cloth. Every mother has her own special knack and tricks.
Its simple shape means it is especially good to wash and dries very quickly on the line.
But our muslin cloth is not only great as a nappy, it is practically a must as a highly absorbent liner for tie-on and all-in-one nappies. And as a burp cloth, a mat, a flannel or just a toy…
